Photography Missions in Andaman: Light, Coast & Wild Places

Andaman photography missions planned around light and tide: wild coasts, forests, harbours and night skies, arranged on request once access is verified.

Overview

Photography missions are designed for photographers who want to capture the Andaman Islands beyond the familiar beach shots. Every day is planned around light and tide: sunrise on a rocky shore, mangroves in morning mist, fishing harbours as boats return, forests in soft light and, on clear moonless nights, the Milky Way over quiet coastlines.

A mission might combine South Andaman locations such as Chidiyatapu and Wandoor with Swaraj Dweep and Shaheed Dweep, where natural rock formations appear at low tide. Longer missions can head north to the forests and twin islands of North Andaman, or include a boat day towards Barren Island to photograph the volcano from the water, as landing is not permitted. We scout locations, check tide tables and moon phases and plan the logistics so you can concentrate on your work.

We follow strict ethics. People are photographed only with their consent, wildlife is never baited or disturbed, drones are flown only where permitted and with the required approvals, and protected reserves and indigenous communities are never photographed or approached. Because remote locations depend on access, permits and weather, missions are confirmed only after verification.

Verification, Permits & Access

Expeditions are arranged on request once access, permits, transport and safety arrangements are verified for your dates. Some locations need permits, and drones require approvals and are restricted in many areas. Remote travel depends on access.

We confirm every element a day or two before you travel and keep you informed if plans need to change. Safety, local rules and our hosts' wishes always come first.

Responsible Travel

Photography Missions follows our responsible travel promise. We keep groups small, use established routes and permitted locations, pay hosts fairly and leave every place as we found it. We never promise wildlife sightings, and we never market, visit or photograph the islands' indigenous communities, whose privacy and protected status we fully respect.

Please carry a refillable bottle, use reef-safe sunscreen, avoid touching coral or wildlife and ask before photographing people.
